In the central part the business premises at the Prinsengracht, the painted cadre depicts coffee and tea plants. The design is most probably by Lambertus Nienhuis.
Bought by the Jewish Historical Museum of Amsterdam in 2001
Note: the first owner had saved this tile picture for many years in some wooden boxes. In 2001 he contacted us to inform that he was intending to sell the central part of this tile picture. He liked very much himself the cadre and he wanted to apply these tiles in a tabletop. With some cogency we finally could acquire the complete tile picture.
