Kaori KURIHARA is born in 1987 in Osaka-Japan. She visited from 2006 till 2010 the University Seika in Kyoto. In France she continued her study between 2012 and 2014 visiting Afedap Formations Bijou - Ecole de bijouterie contemporaine, Paris where she received a diplôme de bijouterie. In 2016 she opened her own workshop in Paris. In 2019 she has exhibited in Galerie Kunstconsult in Amstelveen (NL).

"I am inspired by the plant world with particular attention to forms and their geometric repetition. Each element of nature seems to repeat itself but in fact there are an infinite variety. Then I have a deep desire to make concrete fruit represented in my mind and to be able to gaze through my own eyes. It is with this idea that I try to create pieces that are both realistic and dreamlike."
