Ida Erdös-Meisinger was born in Prachatitz/Bohemia in 1897. In 1924 and 1925 she was trained as a potter in the workshop of Hugo Franz Kirsch in Vienna. Between 1925 and 1928 she studies at the School of Applied Arts in Vienna, ceramics with Michael Powolny. Between 1928 and 1933 she works in the Vienna manufactory of Friedrich Goldschneider. Between 1934 and 1945 own workshop in Znaim/Moravia together with her husband Stephan Erdös. Since 1946 new settlement in Tittmoning/Upper Bavaria. From 1957 together with Ilse Ludwig-Korbel. In 1965 member of the AIC Geneva. Died in Tittmoning/Upper Bavaria in 1985.
