Van Kempen en Begeer - enamel with Leda and the Swan

From the Art Department of the company Van Kempen en Begeer, The Hague. A rare oval plate with a scene from Leda and the Swan, prior to 1940, copper, enamel cloisonne, 6 x 4 cm. The reverse side is finished off with contre-enamel. For a second variation with the theme of Leda: Marjan Unger, Het Nederlandse Sieraad (ornament) in the 20th Century, page 215, 216.

Zeldzaam uit de Kunstafdeling van de firma Van Kempen en Begeer,  's-Gravenhage. Een ovaal plaatje met een voorstelling van Leda en de Zwaan, vóór 1940, koper, email cloisonné, 6 x 4 cm.
