Lies Cosijn

An important and huge piece by Lies Cosijn. A lobbed standing plate with a three dimensional figure at the right. The standing plate has been attached to a ceramic lady figurine. The total is a stand-alone object. In the front we recognize sinter engobe drawings of a couple and some black cars. At the back we see a row of persons and a lady bending. With the text: Is het geen wonder dat * wie dit niet ? * in spleten valt en naar de diepte tuimelt ***. The text is from: “Uit fragmenten 3 van M.L. IJzebrands”. Stoneware with sinter engobes.
