Gerlach van Beinum made this tall, straight bowl in the 1990s. During that period he was known as Gerlach Baas. The favourite distinguishing feature of this artist is the carefully chosen form. As in this case, once again mounted on a base. Furthermore one’s attention is drawn to the very taut and tastfully executed high-gloss lines to the rim. The entire bowl is coated with a mat-white glaze.

Gerlach van Beinum maakte deze hoge, rechte kom in de 1990s. Hij heette toen Gerlach Baas. Het kenmerk van het favoriete gedraaide werk van deze kunstenaar is de zorgvuldig gekozen vorm. In dit geval ook weer op een voet. Verder vallen de zeer strakke en smaakvol gekozen hoogglans lijnen aan de rand op. De gehele kom is bedekt met een matwitte glazuur.
