After following a journey of search into the world of ceramics, in 1988 this artist returned to her original starting point of spacial research, the volume of the pot and the physical presence. From this time onward she would never again embellish her objects with decorative effects. It has become exclusively only the traces of the hand on the skin which lend a subtle yet important contribution to the texture. From this period in time she would increasingly occupy herself with the reshaping of the simple basic forms (text: Allard Hidding in Keramika, no. 2, 1999). The form that is offered here has been built up by hand and the outside has been given a smooth, polished finish. The inside has an open-worked texture and is interrupted by a an upwards-drawn wedge. The whole object is unglazed. This pot plastic is illustrated in Keramika, No. 2, 1999 and was part of the exhibition at the Keramiekmuseum Princessehof, Leeuwarden, Netherlands from 22 May - 15 August 1999.

Veronika Pöschl komt na een keramische zoektocht in 1988 weer terug bij haar oorspronkelijke uitgangspunt van ruimtelijk onderzoek, het volume van de pot en de fysieke aanwezigheid. Vanaf die tijd zal zij op haar voorwerpen geen decoratieve effecten meer toepassen. Het zijn uitsluitend nog de sporen van de hand op de huid, die een subtiele, maar belangrijke bijdrage leveren aan de textuur. Zij zal zich vanaf nu steeds meer bezighouden met het vervormen van simpele basisvormen (tekst: Allaard Hidding in Keramika, no.2, 1999).

De hier aangeboden vorm is met de hand opgebouwd en aan de buitenzijde glad gepolijst. De binnenzijde heeft een opengewerkte textuur. De binnenzijde wordt 'verstoort' door een omhooggewerkte schijf. Het geheel is niet geglazuurd. Deze potplastiek is afgebeeld in Keramika, no. 2, 1999 en was onderdeel van de expositie in Keramiekmuseum Princessehof, Leeuwarden van 22 mei -15 augustus 1999.
