Frans Tuinstra, the potter / ceramist from Neercanne, Maastricht, made this tile-plastic 'Tree' from chamotte clay, and the upper placed parts he covered with a red high-gloss glaze and the remainder with a black engobe. Dated 1978. The picture of this tree is in the Chinese mandarin language however the word YES. It is thus possible that the artist depicted here the word YES.

Frans Tuinstra, de pottenbakker / keramist uit Neercanne, Maastricht heeft dit tegelplastiek 'Boom' gemaakt uit chamotteklei en de hoger gelegen delen met een rode hoogglansglazuur bedekt en het overige met een zwarte engobe. Datering 1978. Gaaf. Het plaatje van de gestyleerde boom komt geheel overeen met het woord JA in de Chinese mandari taal. Het is dus mogelijk dat de kunstenaar het woord JA hier heeft uitgebeeld.
