Frans Tuinstra, the potter / ceramist from Neercanne, Maastricht, made this tile-plastic 'Tree' from chamotte clay, and the upper placed parts he covered with a red high-gloss glaze and the remainder with a black engobe. Dated 1978. 

Frans Tuinstra, de pottenbakker / keramist uit Neercanne, Maastricht heeft dit tegelplastiek 'Boom' gemaakt uit chamotteklei en de hoger gelegen delen met een rode hoogglansglazuur bedekt en het overige met een zwarte engobe. Datering 1978. Gaaf.
