Iet Cool-Schoorl - a thrown pot-bellied vase

Iet Cool-Schoorl

This sturdy and extrememly carefully thrown pot-bellied vase finished with neck and collar, known by us to be the work of Iet Cool-Schoorl. The brown-baking shard is glazed with a pale rusty fragment glaze on top of a blue-grey background. Iet Cool has fashioned the bottom to the base in her own particular style. There is no signature.

Deze stoere en zeer zorgvuldig gedraaide buikvaas eindigt in hals en kraag zoals wij dat kennen van het werk van Iet Cool-Schoorl. De bruinbakkende scherf is geglazuurd met een licht roestige fragmentglazuur over een blauw grijs fond. De bodem is op een soms door Iet Cool op deze wijze afgedraaide voet. Er is geen signatuur.
